next item in my regimen is my eye cream. i had been using kinerase, but i ran out and didn't have time to go to sephora to get some...i made a quick trip to walmart and found this. oil of olay pro line. i thought the price was a *bit* steep for an olay product, but i was pleasantly surprised at what it did for under my eyes! i'm now completely sold on this product and plan on buying it again and again! 
my toner. from mario badescu. this toner works really well at eliminating blackheads and getting rid of excess dirt, but it's still plenty gentle for my sensitive skin. the thing i love most about it is that it doesn't leave my face feeling dry and gross.
i don't get a lot of pimples, but once a month ;) something always trys to "pop up" and this takes care of it almost immediately! i put it on at night, and it's gone in the morning. i swear by this stuff. i've used it for several years, and always have it on hand. LOVE it!
i loved this product so much, i posted about it when i first started my blog. this is incredible stuff. it's by sara happ, who couldn't ever find a good lip scrub. sooo, she started experimenting with ingredients in her kitchen. this is what she came up with, and what has made her i'm sure, quite a lot of money. it's so good, smells good, tastes good...and it leaves your lips soft and smooth. i'm starting to think i sound like a commercial, but seriously, i searched for years for just the right products for me, (and spent a LOT of $$$), so if i can help someone that's looking for products like this that work, i'd like to help. plus, now this might not matter to a lot of people, but it does to me (because i'm a total details person) the packaging is adorable. it comes like how you see here, complete with the little bow. so sweet, and so much like a little gift to yourself.
at night, after i get into bed, i use this. it's la mer's lip balm. i only use it at night because 1. it's incredibly good and the next morning my lips feel silky. and 2. because during the day i wear lip gloss and i'm eating, running around and so on, so i don't want to waste it.
and last, made by sara happ (maker of the lip scrub) is the lip slip. i use this during the day. it's good for under lip gloss, or with just a lip liner (my fav way to wear it). line your lips, fill them in a bit for a touch of color, then put this on. it has a very faint pink tint to it, but it's made to look like you've just licked your lips. not too shiny, and definately not goopy and heavy. and it lasts a looong time.

next~ my most favorite scrub. ever. exfolikate! by kate somerville. she's known for giving her clients that "dewy" "glowing" look and this is her scrub. it's amazing. i don't really care for the packaging, since once you use it and it gets about 1/4 of the way down the pump stops working...but you just unscrew the top and dig your fingers right in. no biggie, it's just the push top pump was so handy...still definately worth it because of the results!

I have been looking all over for a good lip scrub! I hate it when my lips aren't smooth. I can't wait to try this! I am already searching online where to buy it!! :)

i have seen the lip scrub on several blogs and have been meaning to buy it (wanted to this weekend when i was at ulta but couldn't for the life of me remember the name!!!).
and i really need a GREAT under eye cream. do you like this new kind better than the kinerase?

you know, i was pretty skeptical when i bought it, but i figured i could take it back, and i was really desperate for eye cream...(now that we're living at the lake, sephora is now over an hour away from me) with kinerase, it didn't really take AWAY fine lines, but i don't have that many, so i'm not sure that i could really get the full benefits of the product, it didn't take away dark circles or puffy eyes...i've used kinerase for about 4 or 5 years.
with olay, it's definately thicker,(well, it IS thicker, but it's not really "thick" just REALLY emmoillent (sp?)) and way more moisturizing. (my eyes tend to be a bit dry) and i like that i have seen a difference in puffiness and dark circles with this product. something i DIDN'T get from kinerase. you need very little of it, unlike kinerase.
also, i like the packaging (not so much the colors) but kinerase was a skinny tube you squeeze, this has a GREAT little pump, and the cap pops off ( i know this probably sounds dumb, but i was REALLY impressed with the packaging).
olay seems to moisturize my eyes much better. and at $40 it's LESS than HALF the price of kinerase. i've been using it a month now, and have noticed more improvement than i have using kinerase for years...if you want to try it, but still aren't sure (if you're like me i'm skeptical about drugstore cosmetics, and will happily pay more for the "good stuff") just remember you can always take it back.
read the directions and apply it like they say to. it really hydrates. i also bought another olay product while i was there called olay definity eye illuminator. i use this if we've had a really late night, and i (shamefully) didn't remove my makeup, making my dark circles extremely dark. i put on the pro eye cream, and then apply this stuff on over it. amazing. it has an irredesant light reflecting ribbon of lotion in it, and it'll brighten up your eyes immediately.
surprisingly, i'm very impressed with oil of olay. i never thought i would say that about a drugstore brand. i definately will continue to use it. i won't be going back to kinerase any time soon. i'll stick with olay until it starts NOT working for me. :)

hey girl. do you know of any skin care products that offer the same results as la mer and kate sommeriville. they are so waaay out of my price range. don't think i could ever afford those ever. but would like glowing skin. help
jewels~ since i've had a homerun with oil of olay TWICE in a row, i would think that their other products should be pretty good...you might want to try one of those! just make sure that you get the right kind for your needs and skin. (dry/oily/combo/anti-aging/redness)etc. also, get the "glow" easily by doing a facial scrub twice a week. st. ives apricot scrub is a good one to start out with, and you can get it the same places you can get oil of olay! ;)
