introducing...RAVEN!!!

this little cutie patootie is the newest member of our household.  she is the sweetest little thing, ever!  she won't be for long though... she will soon be the sweetest BIG thing, ever, as she's a mastiff~ 

i wanted a dog that was big and scary sounding to strangers, but one that was really good with children and not hyper.  mastiffs are known for being great protection dogs, and wonderful with kids ( just not infants, since if they accidentally sit on the child, it's bad news) they are docile dogs, wanting to be with you, but not into playing a whole lot.  

raven loves to be with us, and she'll play a little while, then curl up next to you and lay beside you till you get up.  then she'll just mozy on behind you.  we look for her to get to be a little over 100 lbs.  she's an outside dog, and will be free to roam our 22 acres, play with the horses and annoy shop cat.  ( hubby found a cat at our company's warehouse, started feeding it, and "named" it shop cat, really creative, huh? ... he's since gotten attached to the stray persian kitty, so much so, that he's taking it with us when our house is finished).  have a great day girls!
